How the Watermaker Terms of Use apply
Watermaker is an independent utility for available files associated with individual public Instagram links. It is not operated or endorsed by Instagram or Meta. Availability depends on the source, the parsing provider and our service capacity.
The initial service is free within fair-use and resource limits. There is no promise of unlimited requests, permanent file storage, a specific resolution, fixed completion time or support for every content type. Features and limits may change as the service develops.
Your content responsibilities
Use the tool for material you own or have permission to save and use. Public accessibility does not grant a licence to redistribute a work. Downloading does not transfer copyright, publicity rights, music rights or other permissions.
Watermaker does not add its own watermark and does not remove marks embedded in a source. Do not represent someone else’s work as your own or use this tool to evade attribution, payment or access controls.
Prohibited uses
- Requesting private, stolen, unlawful or access-restricted material, or attempting to bypass login requirements.
- Sending passwords, verification codes, session cookies or other access credentials to the tool.
- Automated bulk scraping, repeated requests intended to evade limits, or using the service as a general-purpose proxy.
- Interfering with the service, abusing its resources, testing other users’ tokens or attempting unauthorised access.
- Redistributing files without the rights required for your use.
Files, failures and expiry
A result can expire, a source can change, and preparation can fail. A successful link resolution is different from a complete file transfer or a file saved by your device. Check the actual file before using it as a backup or in another project.
Temporary delivery is not a storage or recovery service. Keep your own source files and backups. The tool does not guarantee that missing music, removed details, source markings or inaccessible content can be restored or changed.
Service availability and changes
We may stop a request, enforce limits or suspend access to protect availability and address misuse. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that it is uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
