What does “without water maker” mean?
In this search phrase, “water maker” usually means “watermark.” Watermaker saves an available source file without adding a Watermaker mark. A username, logo, caption or watermark already in the source stays in the file.
Do I need to sign in or share my Instagram password?
No Watermaker account is needed. Submit only a public post or Reel link. We do not ask for your Instagram password, verification code or session cookies. Private and login-only content is outside the supported scope.
Is Watermaker free? Are downloads unlimited?
The initial service is free to use, subject to fair-use, file-size and resource limits. Requests can temporarily stop when a rate or parsing budget is reached. Free does not mean unlimited or guaranteed availability; a limit message will explain the next step.
Which Instagram links can I use?
Use a single public instagram.com/p/… or instagram.com/reel/… link. Supported results can include video, Reels, a single photo or the individual items in a carousel. Account profiles, Stories, live streams, private content and whole-account downloads are not supported.
Will every video be HD or 1080p?
No. Available dimensions depend on the file returned for that post. A 720 × 1280 video is not 1080p, and saving it does not recover detail removed earlier. Check the actual dimensions rather than treating a quality label as a promise.
Why does a video need to be prepared before saving?
A downloadable video may arrive separately from its audio. We check the file and combine corresponding tracks when needed, without re-encoding the picture. Missing or inaccessible source audio cannot always be restored. A prepared file is only offered after that step succeeds.
Where does my downloaded file go?
Your browser controls the final save location. Check its downloads list first, then your device’s Downloads folder or Files app. Saving a video to Files is different from saving it to a phone’s Photos library. The guide includes general device instructions and official help links.
What should I do when a link does not work?
Check that the specific post still exists and is public, copy its complete link again, and read the error shown by the tool. An expired result needs a fresh resolve request. For a rate limit, wait as instructed; retrying repeatedly can make recovery slower.
Are my submitted links or files kept permanently?
No personal media library is created. Short-lived task information and temporary media are used to prepare and deliver a file, with automatic expiry and cleanup. Optional analytics is off until you allow it and does not receive the Instagram link you enter. Read the Privacy Policy for the processing details.
